I have a wealth of experience in resource management and environmental law, as well as public law, local government law and administrative law, particularly involving rural issues. I have regularly appeared before parliamentary committees, boards of inquiry, councils and the Environment Court, and I have also appeared in the High Court and Court of Appeal in resource management appeals.

I am well placed to assist with submissions on district and regional policy statements and plans, and submissions on consenting processes, including appearing at council hearings. I can also assist with planning and other appeals, declarations, judicial review, and I can offer advice on the best approach in cases where enforcement action is taken.

As a qualified mediator I am able to provide mediation services, both to assist clients participating in mediations, and assist with the resolution of disputes, particularly environmental disputes, as the mediator.

I also hold Ministry for the Environment accreditation as an Independent Hearing Commissioner and decision maker.
